A newly published article identifies Texas A&M Professor Qi Li as one of the top 20 most prolific authors in econometrics worldwide. Based on number of publications in the Journal of Econometrics, the top field journal in the area of econometrics, over the journal’s first forty years (1973 – 2012), Professor Li ranks number 13. The other authors are a who’s who among econometricians. Of the top 20 individuals, 14 are from U.S. institutions, 4 from the U.K., 1 from France and 1 from Canada.
Texas A&M University is also ranked as one of the top 20 most prolific institutions in econometrics worldwide.
